Shaun Ellis sued by Seahawks fan for throwing snowball

Two years ago, New York Jets defensive end Shaun Ellis threw a snowball at Seahawks fans who were heckling players as they left the field. Now, one fan wants to be compensated from the physical and emotional distress he received because of it.

According to the lawsuit, Ellis was bitter about the defeat … and as he walked off the field, he “stopped, picked up a large block or chunk or packed snow … and threw it into the crowd” … striking a man named Robert Larsen.

In the suit, Larsen — a Seahawks season ticket holder — claims he had been waving a pro-Seahawks sign … which made him a perfect snowball target.

I’m not a lawyer, nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn last night but I’m not sure what kind of physical injury Larsen sustained when, only moments after being struck with the snow, he lifted it in the air drawing cheers from the crowd.

At best, this is a sorry attempt at a cash
