There aren’t too many DJ’s in today’s world of music that can claim
the technical mastery of the lost art of Dj’ing. Craig Mills on the
other hand is one of the few Dj’s that possess the traits of a real dj
who can still blend, cut m scratch and mix. Combine all of these
traits with a musical sensibility that can accommodate peope of any
class, race, and culture ultimately making him one of the most
recognized DJ’s today.
Craig Mills possesses a universal appeal that transcends your
average DJ, although his strengths are in uptempo dance music,
Craig Mills has the ability to play for an open format market
without skipping a beat. Djing since 1987, Craig Mills inspiration to
become a DJ came from listening to various radio DJ’s during their
mix shows. After witnessing and experiencing the power the
nightclub DJ
has over the club goers with his skill to keep the dancefloor
packed, from that point, Craig Mills knew he wanted to become a
DJ. His focuses as a DJ is to maintain a crowded dancefloor,
perform the art of real time mashup-production (making the intro
and outro songs sound like one) and of course playing the best
music from yesterday, today and tomorrow.
When Craig Mills enters a club, people prepare themselves for what
he calls an ‘Eargasmic” experience. His Eargasm tour has been
heard in various clubs in South Beach, Miami such as Mango’s On
the Beach, Lux, The Fifth, Play, Music, 1020 Music Box
(Clevelander Hotel), Dream,Tangea Lounge (WMC 2010 Fesitvities).
New York: The Palladium, Supper Club, Tantra Lounge, Club Abyss,
Danceteria as well as internationally in Cancun, Mexico at La Boom
and The City during Spring Break.
