2013 Bmw 7-Series Facelift: first details revealed

Most modifications to BMW’s facelifted 7-Series, which is expected to debut next year, will be on its performance. It’s expected to go up against the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class. The exterior will receive minimal changes, including the use of new LED accents. It will get restyled bumpers, front and back, as well as a new spoiler. These indicators will appear like an LED bar. A new LED headlight will be offered as an optional extra. Its engine lineup will include several of the new units presented by BMW.
The 740i will be powered by the twin-turbocharged engine, which could be boosted to deliver about 350 hp.
Meanwhile, the 750i is expected to achieve about 450hp from a 4.4-liter V8 petrol engine that makes use of BMW’s TwinPower Turbo technology with two turbochargers and high-precision direct injection.
BMW hasn’t revealed details about the V12 in the 760i, which may be replaced as all automakers have been affected by the downsizing trend. The 2013 BMW 7-Series facelift would probably debut at the 2012 Beijing Auto Show in April, while at the same time, there’s an exhibit in New York. Huge luxury four-doors are being grabbed everywhere by the Chinese and American markets so BMW has to entice these potential customers to its side.
