Rides : Cadillac Ciel Concept unveiled at Pebble Beach

A new concept named Ciel and wearing the Cadillac logo on it has just been presented at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California and judging from its exterior design we will definitely see it in rappers’ videos if it hits the production line.

Described as an “open-air grand touring car inspired by the natural beauty of the California coast”, with a “dramatic interior” and “aromatherapy that is controlled from the rear armrest”, the Ciel’s heated and cooled seats offer a drawer which can carry your sun glasses, towels and sun cream, and being a new concept, LEDs and large 22 inch alloy wheels couldn’t be left aside by the manufacturer.
The Cadillac Ciel (French for Sky) Concept takes its power from a 3.6 liter bi-turbo V6 petrol engine, mated to a hybrid system, and according to the auto maker it’s 300mm longer that the Cadillac CTS.

The Concept has been described by Cadillac’s global design director Clay Dean as “large, expressive luxury is innate to Cadillac and the Ciel recalls that heritage, while suggesting where the brand can go in the future”.
