The Bavarian car manufacturer has a lot of surprise for the brand’s fans and after spy shots of the new M3 ended up on the internet, along with a leak of the Performance Concept 1-Series, the new F30 3-Series was photographed without any camouflage.
According to the Bimmer Post Forum, the owners of the spy photos, the exterior color is called Sparkling Bronze and it will make its debut as 328i and 335i, with the first one being powered by the N20 four-cylinder turbo engine, the same found on the Z4 28i and the new 528i, while the 335i will get its power from a larger six-cylinder inline unit.
The Head Up Display and separate iDrive screen are fitted on the new 3-Series and the interior design has “a touch of the past”, with the steering wheel appearing to be beige.
The new generation of BMW 3-Series is scheduled to be officially presented at the Geneva Motor Show next spring, with European deliveries kicking off at the same time. However the over-seas auto market will have to wait a few months more for the new mid-sized Bavarian car.
