The
German aftermarket specialists at Mansory have decided to get their
hands on the Audi R8 Spyder, transforming the sports car into an
aggressive beast with a new aerodynamic body kit and an extra power
boost.
As you can see from the photo gallery below and as Mansory also says,
the Audi R8 Spyder now comes with a new front and rear bumper, side
skirts, rear diffuser, new front grille, lamella bonnets and the sports
car is sitting on large Mansory 20 inch burnished alloy wheels. The
interior has been upgraded with leather upholstery along with the
“classic” aluminum and carbon fiber inserts. Mansory is also offering
some optionals like the personalized doormats, aluminum pedals and
footrests and illuminated door entry strips.
According to the German tuners at Mansory, the Audi R8 Spyder is
powered by the same 5.2 liter V10 engine as the standard car, but by
adding a sport air filter and a new sport exhaust system, the power went
up to a total output of 552 horsepower at 8.000 rpm and the peak torque
is now sitting at 6.500 rpm with 550 Nm, being actually 27 HP and 20 Nm
more than the standard unit.
The German tuners at Mansory haven’t announced an official price for
their Audi R8 Spyder upgrade kit but one thing is for sure: that can’t
be cheap.
