Rides : Check Out The Mercedes-Benz SLK by Vath

The German aftermarket specialists at Vath have recently released an upgrade kit for the 2012 Mercedes-Ben SLK, which includes an aerodynamic body kit as well as a power boost for the 200 CGI, 250 CGI and 350.

According to the German tuners at Vath, the 2012 Mercedes-Benz has now been fitted with a new aerodynamic body kit which consists of a new front lip spoiler, a rear diffuser, larger 20 inch alloy wheels and for an improved handling and a new look, the SLK also comes with a new suspension which is lowering the ride height. New high-performance brakes, a limited slip differential and a stainless steel sport exhaust system have also been fitted to the model. The interior hasn’t been left aside by the aftermarket specialists and it now has aluminum pedals, velour floor mats, a revised speedometer which tops out at 330 km/h (205 mph) and some carbon fiber trim.
Vath says that under the hood various performance packages are available for the 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLK, like the SLK 200 CGI which can be modified to develop a total output of 207 horsepower and a peak torque of 310 Nm (229 lb-ft), or the SLK 250 CGI which can generate 241 horsepower and 360 Nm (265 lb-ft of torque). Last but not least, the SLK 350 can be equipped with an optimized ECU which brings its total output to 325 horsepower and 390 Nm of torque (288 lb-ft).
