The
German aftermarket specialists when it comes to modifying Mercedes-Benz
models, Brabus, have recently developed an upgrade kit for the M-Class,
with the crossover going to the 2011 Essen Motor Show where it will be
officially presented to the public.
According to the Mercedes-Benz tuner, the M-Class has also been fitted with an AIRMATIC suspension and the Brabus module can lower the ride height by 30-40 mm at the touch of a button. The interior hasn’t been left aside by the aftermarket specialists and new touches include the bi-color stainless-steel scuff plates with backlit Brabus logo, matte-anodized aluminum pedals and fully individualized finishes for the cabin.
The upgrade program for the M-Class also includes a power upgrade for the ML 350 BlueTEC 4MATIC diesel which is now coming with 301 HP and 690 Nm of torque (509 lb-ft) from the standard 254 HP and 620 Nm of torque (457 lb-ft), which allows the crossover to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.0 seconds, with the top speed being increased to 229 km/h (142 mph).
