The
German based automaker BMW is planning to launch the most powerful M6
yet by this summer, which will be coming with 552 horsepower.
The most powerful BMW M6 yet will be powered by the same engine as the new M5, the 4.4 liter twin-turbo V8 unit, but its total output is currently unknown. As a reminder, the BMW M5 is coming with 560 horsepower and 502 lb-ft of torque, and its engine is coming with the M TwinPower Turbo, being mated to a seven-speed M Double Clutch Transmission Drivelogic with steering wheel mounted paddle shifters. The 0 to 63 mpg acceleration takes 4.4 seconds and its top speed has been limited to 155 mph, but with the M Driver’s Package, the vehicle can go up to 190 mph.
