The German based automaker BMW has recently announced that the new 6-Series will get a 640d Diesel xDrive version.
The new BMW 6-Series Coupe with its 640d xDrive version will be powered by a 3.0 liter straight-six TwinPower engine, which will be developing a total output of 313 horsepower and it will have an impressive peak torque of 630 Nm, available at low rpms, between 1.500 and 2.500. BMW says that the 6-Series Coupe with the 640d xDrive will be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.2 seconds, before hitting its 250 km/h limited top speed (155 mph). If you think that this isn’t that impressive, we’ll tell you that all that power is available with an average fuel consumption of just 5.7 liters every 100 km, while the CO2 emissions stop at 149 g/km.
