Rides : Check Out The ABT Sportsline Audi AS5

The German aftermarket specialists at ABT Sportsline have recently presented their latest creation, based on the facelifted Audi A5, and named the AS5.

According to the German tuner, the Audi A5 facelift has been fitted with a new body kit, which is made out of a new front spoiler, ventilated fenders, revised side skirts, a trunk mounted spoiler and a rear diffuser. Besides the aggressive and appealing exterior design, the ABT AS5 can also be fitted with the ABT exhaust technology, an ABT suspension as well as the ABT wheel technology, made out of a choice between the company’s 19 or 20 inch alloy wheels, wrapped in sports tires.

“For us, it was important to combine this car’s extraordinary design with our ideas and thus to underscore the car’s character. Its increased performance and its body parts form a unit. If you look at the AS5, you want to take in every inch of its marvelous silhouette, and if you sit in it, all you want is to get it on the road. The coupe is really a power pack”, said Hans-Jurgen ABT.

The ABT Sportsline package for the facelifted Audi A5 can be ordered for two engine variants, the 2.0 liter TFSI, which can be upgraded to develop 266 horsepower instead of 208 HP, while the larger 3.0 liter TDI engine can generate a total output of 296 horsepower, 54 horsepower more than the standard version.
