Rides : Audi A6L launched in China

The German based automaker Audi has recently announced that the luxurious A6L was launched in China, where the model has a starting price of 383,000 yuan.

According to the car manufacturer, the Chinese A6L is 100 long and it has a 100 mm longer wheelbase than thee German version, with a total length of 5.02 meters, 1.87 meters wide and 1,46 meters tall. Even if the Audi A6L for China has a 67 mm longer wheelbase than the model it replaces, it’s not the same as the BMW 5-Series Li or the long wheelbase Mercedes-Benz E-Class, which have wheelbases of more than 3 meters, but the A6L’s interior seems to be as good as its rivals.
The Audi A6L in China is available with four engine options, the 2.0 liter TFSI, the 2.5 liter FSI, the 2.8 liter FSI and the 3.0 liter TFSI, with the entry-level version being equipped with the 2.0 L TFSI which is developing a total output of 132 kW and 320 Nm of torque, a significant increase compared to the previous 2.0 liter unit. The engine can be mated to a six-speed manual transmission or a Multitronic CVT, and the 2.5 L FSI, which is replacing the 2.4 liter unit, can be mated to the same gearbox. Audi says that the starting price of the A6L in China are set at 383,000 yuan (60,628 USD) but this can go up to 742,600 yuan (117,551 USD) depending on the engine choice and options list.
