The
German aftermarket specialists at AC Schnitzer have recently revealed
the ACS5 Sport, based on the BMW M5, which will be officially presented
to the public on the 6th of March, at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.
Under the hood, the TwinTurbo V8 engine of the BMW M5, which is developing a total output of 560 horsepower and a peak torque of 680 Nm, has been taken to 620 HP and 790 Nm of torque. The ACS5 Sport by AC Schnitzer can now accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds, which is actually 0.2 seconds faster than the standard model. The top speed has also been increased up to 305 km/h. More details on the BMW M5 ACS5 by AC Schnitzer will be announced at the Geneva Motor Show, when the model will be presented to the public.
