The
British based supercar manufacturer Aston Martin has recently announced
the official starting price for the 2012 V8 Vantage, in both coupe and
convertible versions, in the United States.
According to the automaker, the 2012 Aston Martin V8 Vantage Coupe
starts at 118,370 USD while the 2012 Aston Martin V8 Vantage Convertible
costs 132,870 USD for the entry-level. Aston Martin says that the “new”
V8 Vantage has features like the full grain leather interior, piano
black fascia trim, graphite center console finish, electrically operated
sports seats, front airbags, powerfold heated side mirrors, heated rear
screen, automatic temperature control, trip computer, sat-nav, cruise
control, Bluetooth, parking sensors, tire pressure monitoring system,
alarm, immobilizer, central locking, glass ECU, led map lamps and lamy
pen and pen holder, along with the satellite radio system, 160W audio
system with six-CD auto changer, iPod connector and USB connectivity.
The 2012 Aston Martin V8 Vantage is 4,385 mm long, 1,865 mm wide,
1,260 mm tall for the coupe and 1,270 mm tall for the roadster, with a
wheelbase of 2,600 mm. Under the hood, the supercar is powered by a 4.7
liter V8 engine, which has been upgraded and it’s now developing a total
output of 420 horsepower for the Vantage and 430 HP and 361 lb-ft of
torque for the Vantage S. The unit is mated to a six-speed manual
transmission, but the optional six-speed Sportshift automatic has been
replaced by the seven-speed Sportshift II. The model is already
available for order.
