Rides : BMW 7-Series facelift coming in mid-2012

The facelifted version of the BMW 7-Series will hit the market this July and besides the redesigned headlamps, taillights and bumpers, the model will also get the new tri-turbo diesel engine.

According to the German based car manufacturer, the BMW 7-Series facelift is ready but the luxurious vehicle will hit the market in mid-2012. BMW is also saying that the model is currently being tested for the last time and it has been scheduled to arrive in showrooms this July. The facelifted version of the BMW 7-Series will get redesigned front and rear fascias and the cabin is expected to come with something fresh.
Besides the “classic” changes to its exterior and interior designs, the 2013 BMW 7-Series will also get the all-new tri-turbo diesel engine, which is developing a total output of 275 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 740 Nm. This is the same unit which is already available on the smaller model, the M550d xDrive. The facelifted BMW 7-Series might get an M Performance version but there is no official word on this for now, just yet. Unfortunately we don’t have any more details about the 2013 BMW 7-Series but extra info on it will be announced close to its launch.
