FORECAST
NY Metro Coastal Areas: SATURDAY NIGHT will have wind around 30mph with gusts of 40mph, with possible showers beginning after midnight and sea swells of 6-9 feet. SUNDAY will see winds of 30-40mph with gusts of 50mph, rain and sea swells of 8-15ft. SUNDAY NIGHT will see winds of 40-50mph, gusting close to 70mph, heavy rains. MONDAY will see winds 45-57mph, gusts of 74mph, heavy rain. MONDAY NIGHT will see winds of 50-63mph, 74mph gusts, heavy rain. TUESDAY will see winds of 40-50mph, gusts of 74mph, with rain. Washington DC/Baltimore Coastal Areas: SATURDAY NIGHT will see winds 23-29mph, gusting to 35mph and rain. SUNDAY will see 29-35mph winds, increasing to 35-46mph in the afternoon, with rain. SUNDAY NIGHT will see 40-46mph winds, gusts of 58mph and moderate rain with waves of 6-8ft. MONDAY will see winds of 46-52mph and moderate rain. MONDAY NIGHT will see winds of 46-52mph, becoming 40-46mph after midnight with rain. Boston Coastal Areas: SUNDAY will see winds increasing to 29-35 mph. SUNDAY NIGHT will see winds of 40-52mph with a chance of showers. MONDAY will see winds of 40-52mph with rain and isolated t-storms. MONDAY NIGHT will see winds of 40-52mph, diminishing to 23-35mph later in the day. AIRLINES

American Airlines has waived ticket re-issue charges for routings and dates seen here.

Delta Air Lines is allowing a one-time change without fees for routes and dates seen here.

JetBlue Airways is moving much of their fleet away adding extra flights out of the impacted areas before the storm hits, and will soon begin their storm cancellations. Details on that and their fee-waiving for the storm can be seen on their site here. (updated Oct 27, 9:26pm EST)

United Airlines is offering exception in their change fees for routings and dates seen here.
Other airlines are preparing their plans for Hurricane Sandy, including cancellations and delays.
