One World Trade Center Spire To Arrive In New York City On Tuesday

The 408-foot spire set to top One World Trade Center will arrive in New York City on Tuesday.
The spire is divided into 18 sections that weigh between 5 tons and more than 67 tons.
Since November 16, eight of the sections have been en route to the city via a barge from Canada. The final leg of the journey will take place in New Jersey.
The smaller sections that remain will arrive by truck later in the month.
Once erected, the spire will make One World Trade Center the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere.
