Swedish superstar Avicii has revealed that his non-stop party antics and excessive binge drinking left him hospitalised last year.
The DJ behind dance anthem 'Levels' admitted in a recent interview with inthemix.com that he "completely overdid it" while touring last year.
"I was drinking a whole lot more and I was going to after-parties and just generally not being very professional", he admitted.
He continued: "But my body just couldn't take it and I ended up in the hospital at the beginning of last year, like a year ago, really because of drinking."
The 23-year-old played 300-plus shows last year, headlining festivals in every corner of the globe, although in 2013, he has plans to take things down a notch or two.
"Since then I’ve done a complete 180 and I’ve been taking it really easy. I’ll still have fun on occasion, but I have to pick my battles, I really do."
