New Photos for ‘Fast and Furious 6’

New photos of the ‘Fast and Furious 6’ set have appeared on the internet, on the movie Facebook page.

The new photo confirm that the famous Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Dwayne Johnson have returned again on the ‘Fast and Furious’ set as Dominic Toretto, Brian O’Conner and Luke Hobbs, to make another movie filled with adrenaline. The movie, also known as ‘Fast Six,’ was written by Chris Morgan and is directed by Justin Lin.
The actors staring in the movie are Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, and Luke Evans and the film is in development from February 2010. This will be the first movie in this series to change the underground car-racing theme, which was considered to have placed a barrier on audience numbers. The film is expected to be released on May 24th, 2013.

‘Fast and Furious’ 6 and 7 On the Way

The sixth installment of the Fast and Furious franchise will be split into two movies.

The news comes just weeks after Universal officially green-lit the sixth installment, which picks up the with the cliffhanger at the end of 2010’s “Fast Five”.
Directed by Justin Lin, Vin Diesel said the two scripts are being written simultaneously.

‘With the success of this last one and the inclusion of so many characters, and the broadening of scope, when we were sitting down to figure out what would fit into the real estate of number six, we didn’t have enough space … We have to pay off this story.

‘We have to service all of these character relationships, and when we started mapping all that out it just went beyond 110 pages. The studio said: “You can’t fit all that story in one damn movie!”‘

There is a rumor that action star Jason Statham, a hit in The Transporter trilogy, may join the cast.
The best-reviewed film in the franchise, “Fast Five,” grossed $626 million worldwide.
No word yet on whether the upcoming installments will be released as a two-part unit or as stand-alone movies.
