Here are even more angles of the Air Jordan 2011 “Year Of The Rabbit”. It’s already been released in China but look for it’s U.S. release to House of Hoops and select Jordan Brand accounts coming later this month.
The White/Metallic Gold-Varsity Red-Wolf Grey shoe officially retails for $180.
Air Jordan Rare is the type of JB sneaker that tries carefully to follow the clean modern aesthetics with the use of elephant ‘concrete’ print. The upper is made out of durable leather and synthetic and offers comfort and style. The padded collar offers better ankle support, while the Lace-up style with lace lock assures a great fit. Traction-patterned, non-marking rubber outsole offers great grip on and off the court. The style can be purchased at anyconline.
After teaser images surfaced in November, it’s been all quiet on the Air Jordan V ‘Bin 23′ front since we saw another round of previews back in December. Here’s another look at the upcoming AJ7 Retro Premio, and it appears a few changes are in store. Both major differences would be marked if you were standing in the shoes looking down, as the tongue seems to have been replaced by a more typical silver one that’s likely reflective 3M, and the laces in these photos are white. The latter could just as easily be an extra pair, but coupled with the former we’re in for something of a significant change here. So which version do you prefer? The photos of Air Jordan 7 “Orion Blue” have been floating around on the web for months already. So if you like the style you’ll have to wait until March 26th, 2011. The colorway features blue and red accents on the heel, tongue and upper heel. Check anyconline for new arrivals.
The Infrared Pack was an immediate sellout and no-brainer for our 2010 Top 30 list, but there’s another shade that’s even more intimately connected to the Air Jordan VI. Carmine is a color you just don’t see very often, an intense shade that makes the AJVI the dominant DNA in the new Air Jordan 6-17-23. A hybrid that mashes together a couple of kicks released together as part of the Collezione Pack in 2008, these are basically an AJVI upper with the XVII’s eyelets, tongue and sole. The contrast of black and white sections framing the signature red underlay instantly alerts you that these aren’t the OG Carmines, but rather like wearing your whole CDP at the same time. Check out more shots and LA sneakerheads can cop your at Millennium starting Saturday, or just grab yours right now on eBay.
The 18-pair auction we showed you last week is still available as a BIN on eBay, so it’s safe to say many Sneaker News readers are saving your money for a fresh pair of Air Jordan III Retros. And not just any pair, either, but the venerable ‘White Cement’ pair that brings along with it an OG-inspired Elephant print box. Jordan Brand Bin 23 packaging is immaculate, the last couple AJXI Retros have come in special boxes and this makes us wonder: would you want to see special boxes unique to each particular Air Jordan Legacy model? We won’t hold our breaths on, say, a speckled AJIV box, but you can get a better view of this January 2011 release after the jump via Kinstor or get yourself a pair early on eBay.

Jordan Brand’s new flagship shoe gets national exposure on Christmas Day. Briefly.
Heat guard Dwyane Wade debuted the recently-leaked Air Jordan 2011 last night, putting in 18 points with 5 rebounds and 6 assists to help Miami smack the Lakers 96-80 in their Christmas Day match. After a quick first quarter teaser wear of the White/Red colorway, he switched to the Air Jordan 2010.
Wade wasn’t the only shoe headliner.
Nike’s “Stoplight Pack” also got plenty of airtime. LeBron James poured in a triple double in his Nike LeBron 8 “Run On Red” shoe, while Thunder forward Kevin Durant exploded for 44, 7, 4, 2 and 2 in his Nike Zoom KD III “No Yield For Yellow” and Lakers guard Kobe Bryant contributed 17, 6 and 7 with his green mamba-inspired Nike Zoom Kobe VI “Green Means Go” in the Lakers loss.
Non-sig athletes, including Chris Bosh, Glen Davis and David Lee, also celebrated the day by wearing red/green-themed shoes.
Choosing not to rock the boat with a surprising color-up, Gilbert Arenas opted for the Air Jordan 9 Retro Premio BIN23.
