DJs : Kaskade Wins ‘America’s Best DJ 2013′ Award

The votes are in. DJ Times Magazine and Pioneer DJ have just announced that Ryan Raddon, aka Kaskade, has won this year’s America’s Best DJ 2013. Fans were able to vote online at the America’s Best DJ website and in person at events held by Pioneer DJ & DJ Times. What a week it has been for Kaskade. With the release of his newest album, “Atmosphere” on September 10, 2013 and winning the award for America’s Best DJ 2013 just a couple days later, it can’t get any better for this house legend. To add on to his success, Kaskade is the first DJ/Producer to ever win the America’s Best DJ award more than once.

The Grammy nominated producer will kick off his Atmosphere Tour in two days on September 14th at American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida. He will also be returning to Las Vegas for a winter residency at XS Nightclub, debuting October 11, 2013.

Rides : The Evoque Wins 2012 Women’s World Car of the Year Award

Land Rover Range Rover Evoque is the ‘supreme winner’ of the 2012 Women’s World Car of the Year Award.

A jury of 12 female auto writers from 12 different countries voted the four categories’ winners for this year’s contest: Family Car, Luxury Car, Sports Car and Economy Car. The Evoque was the first in the Luxury Car categories and was also named the ‘supreme winner.’ Each member of the jury gives points following a voting criteria, for each car. The points will be added and the car with the highest number of points wins that category.
The results for each category are:
Family car:
1st – BMW 3-series
2nd – Audi Q3
3rd – Ford Focus
Luxury car:
1st – Range Rover Evoque
2nd – Jaguar XJ
3rd – Audi A6
Sports car:
1st – Porsche 911
2nd – Jaguar XKR
3rd – Mercedes Benz SLK
Economy car:
1st – Honda Civic
2nd – VW Up!
3rd – Ford Fiesta
The supreme winner of the Women’s World Car of the Year 2012 is:
