EDM News : Kaskade to embark on four-stop “Atmosphere Tour”

On June 10th, Kaskade will drop his much-anticipated new single, “Atmosphere.” Many attendees of this year’s Ultra Music Festival will remember Kaskade opening his main stage set with the track. Now, Kaskade has announced that he will be embarking on a four-stop tour in the new single’s honor. The cities that will be lucky enough to host the world-famous DJ will be New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Miami. While the venues of these locations have not yet been announced, the site dedicated to the tour reads, “Big rooms, small tour,” perhaps insinuating that Kaskade will be performing at arenas (like Madison Square Garden in New York, and the Staples Center in Los Angeles, for example). However, this is just speculation. One thing is for sure, these cities will be anxiously waiting these venue announcements. Limited pre-sale tickets go on sale June 5th at noon local venue time, and go on sale to the general public on June 7th. Stay tuned to elektro for more information to come soon. In the meantime, check out the Kaskade Atmosphere Tour official website here.

Beyonce Announces World Tour Dates After Super Bowl Halftime Performance

As expected, New Orleans was just the beginning.
Following a Super Bowl halftime show that set Twitter ablaze, Beyonce announced that she will embark on "The Mrs. Carter Show," a nearly four month transatlantic tour that will kick off in Serbia on April 15.
After two almost months in Europe -- with dates in London, Paris, Berlin, Stockholm and nearly every other major city -- she will kick off a two month trek across the United States, starting in Los Angeles and ending in Brooklyn's Barclay's Center -- an arena in which her husband, Jay-Z, owns a stake.
Word of the tour slipped out late on Friday, via an image that appeared on Live Nation's website.
The tour will come in support of her next studio album, which has yet to be given a name or release date.
The entire schedule for the tour can be found at Beyonce's website.

This mini-documentary follows Skrillex as he tours South American. We see Sonny play the Imperial festival in Costa Rica before heading back to the hotel to have a dance party with Diplo and Redfoo. The next day he’s off to Sao Paulo for Lollapalooza, where Skrillex whomps out with a massive crowd in Brazil. After a frenetic few days, the crew heads to Costa Rica they get time to relax by the pool. Next, they’re in Chile for another Lollapalooza before jetting to Argentina — giving some perspective on just how much you need to move when you’re performing over 300 shows a year.
