It was a pretty accurate definition. That was for promoters who look to book DJ's and ask "how many people can they guarantee at their venue." Promoters, if you can't fulfill your promise to the owner of the club and make your bar guarantee; don't rely on the DJ we have a job to do (please see above)! Your job is to fill the club. Hence the name, promoter.

We recently lost 2 great DJ's. DJ ROC RAIDA and DJ AM. Last night (10/22/09) at BB KINGS (NYC), numerous DJ's from all over paid tribute to DJ EFFECT. There were too many DJ's to mention. I took the liberty of posting footage from last nights tribute.
