A Chinese businessman brought his Lamborghini Gallardo in for repair last November after it ceased to start one morning. The authorized dealer failed to get the Lambo running, damaged it while transporting it back to the owner, and then refused to take responsibility for the mess. After several more failed attempts to get the car serviced properly through the brand’s Chinese headquarters, the owner put together a protest for March 15 (World Consumer Rights Day), and had the supercar publicly destroyed.
The message: This is what I think of your service, Lamborghini, so now what are you going to do about it?
The Result: Lamborghini plans on keeping the owners $650,000, and in return the owner gets to keep his video, consumer rights, and the pile of carbon fiber left over from the protest. Sounds like a happy ending for all!
