Infiniti released info on their plans to take its IPL G Convertible concept into production for the 2013 model year at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. It will most likely keep the concept’s 3.7-liter V6 engine that has an output of 333 hp and 276 lb.-ft. of torque. The production model will feature a three-piece folding hardtop, 19-inch IPL aluminum-alloy wheels, sport exhaust and suspension as well as a unique interior finish in red-leather and an outside paint in Malbec Black. Infiniti is scheduled to debut the production model as this year’s L.A. Auto Show in November and then have the convertible go on sale next year.
