Car Porn : MINI Roadster commercial released

The British based automaker MINI has just launched a commercial video for the Roadster model, which is adding a drop of fun compared to similar models.

Even if the new MINI Roadster has been with us ever since 2011, the BMW sub-brand has finally decided to release a commercial video, where the model is being promoted in a unique way which is standing up to that unique look. The video has been filmed in Istanbul, Turkey, and rather than talk about the commercial we’d better let you watch it uninfluenced.
As a small reminder, the MINI Roadster entry-level version is being powered by a 1.6 liter four-cylinder engine, which is generating a total output of 122 horsepower at 6.000 rpm and it has a peak torque of 118 lb-ft available at 4.250 rpm. The 0 to 62 mph acceleration takes 9.2 seconds and the vehicle can hit a top speed of 124 mph. The Cooper S Roadster is powered by the same 1.6 liter engine but this is now developing 184 horsepower at 5.500 rpm and 177 lb-ft of torque between 1.600 and 5.000 rpm, while the JCW’s 1.6 liter engine is coming at 211 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque, accelerating from 0 to 62 mph in 6.5 seconds and hitting a top speed of 147 mph.
