No can argue with the fact that the Dutch have undeniably effected the
overall direction of the electronic music industry. Everything from the
high pitched sounds of Dutch house to their infiltration into the
electro scene, they’ve practically taken over the pro DJ circuit.
Everyone from Afrojack, Fedde Le Grand, Sidney Samson, Tiesto, to
Laidback Luke hail from Holland and the list goes on. This can’t just
be some coincidence right? ”Dutch Influence” examines the role that the
Dutch have played in Dance music and how it became so. The movie will
premiere at ADE 2012 on Wednesday, October 17 2012, so if you’re
anywhere near Amsterdam, do not miss this great event.
