Rides : VW Golf GTI by Schmidt Revolution

VW Golf GTI by Schmidt Revolution

The German aftermarket specialists at Schmidt Revolution have taken on a new project based on the Volkswagen Golf GTI Mk5.
Even if this isn’t actually the newest generation of the Volkswagen Golf, the Mk5 is proving once again that it still has a word to say to petrol heads and this latest upgrade package is making the vehicle even more irresistible. According to the German tuners at Schmidt Revolution, the Volkswagen Golf GTI is coming with a sport tuned suspension, an original R32 rear bumper, a dual exhaust system, 19 inch wheels wrapped in Marangoni tires and a Kenwood navigation system.
“The fifth series of Volkswagen Golf comes in the showrooms in the autumn of 2003, however, it has been formed in the course of only five years just to be replaced by its successor Golf VI. A year later, in 2004, the VW makes an addition to its collection and presents the Golf V in the GTI version. Under the slogan myth GTI it should join the first generation, the original GTI. Various details inside and out - e.g. a special radiator grille with honeycomb mesh and red trim, black side skirts, plaid seats, aluminum inserts, and private Tacho design - are ‘taken over” plainly’, as the automaker says in the official press release.
The Volkswagen Golf GTI Mk5 made by Schmidt Revolution is being powered by the 2.0 liter TFSI engine which has been equipped with an optimized ECU and a modified air intake, allowing the unit to develop a total output of 271 horsepower which is 74 HP more than the standard model.

Gaming - Woman makes topless avatar on Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11

When women see Tiger Woods, panties start droppin and shirts start poppin. At least, that was the case for Jo Eley who tried to make her avatar on the new Tiger Woods PGA tour game, only to find out her boobies were showing.

Here’s what it looked like:

Call me crazy but I’m pretty sure EA sports wasn’t dumb enough to allow a “naked tool” as part of their avatar construction. That is, unless they’re like the Disney Corporation and include a multitude of subliminal sexual innuendos in their movies—but I digress.

After some internet sleuthing, it appears this was the work of some clever hacking according to CVG.

[Update: EA later placed the blame on a user modification. A spokesperson said: "We have extensively investigated and have determined that this situation is not possible through a retail copy of the game. The player model is clearly modified as a result of hacking."]

So, no harm, no foul. Tiger Woods is still banging hookers and waitresses and EA Sports still supports him with G-rated video games. This story had so much potential but crashed and burned pretty quickly.

Gaming : EA Sports Replaces Tiger Woods With Yellow Flag on His Own Game

tiger woods mastersWhile his name remains part of the title, Tiger Woods will not appear on the cover of 'Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters,' which debuts on March 29th for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii. According to Reuters, Woods has been replaced with a yellow flag from the legendary Augusta National Golf Club, which hosts the Masters Tournament. Of course, it's easy to assume that Tiger's scandals off the golf course led to this decision. But EA Sports president Peter Moore told Reuters, "You shouldn't read anything into the fact that Tiger's not featured on the box art...." Woods will, however, appear on the cover of the pricier PS3 Collector's Edition, which is loaded with five extra courses (and costs $10 more). That still doesn't explain why his name appears in such small type across the bottom of the cover, which is why we're inclined to believe Moore about as much as we believed that Tiger was a faithful husband.
