The 2011 NBA All-Star Game is just two weekends away, and with this year’s festivities taking place in Los Angeles, Nike had to come through with some sick renditions of the Nike Air Force 1. All-Star inspired Forces has been a tradition for quite some time and although LA can be represented in a number of different ways, the task was a bit tougher than it seemed. How can you capture all of Los Angeles in one colorway/theme/motif? You can’t, really, so Nike decided to present three different renditions with each representing a specific territory and lifestyle of the West Coast city. You’ve got the ‘Orange County’ colorway, which alludes to LA’s beaches, the ‘Hollywood’ joints, which captures the glitz and glamour of the red carpet with hints of gold, and ‘East LA’, represented by a cool, calm, and collected Black/White combination. Gallery-2 is taking pre-orders for these for the Asian sneakerheads so if you’re out East, hit them up and reserve your pair.

Nike’s using extra resistant TecTuff leather to enforce the shoe one more time after dropping Air Force 1. The newcomer implements the scuff-proof fabrics on the front and heel of the top section. Kicks : Nike Air Force 1 Supreme ‘Year of the Rabbit’

On the last weekend before the arrival of the Chinese New Year, the Nike Air Force 1 ‘Year of the Rabbit’ is set for a release. Featuring a milky-white outsole, a chenille swoosh with alternating colors on the lateral and medial side, and combination of leather and suede on the upper, the Year of the Rabbit Air Force 1 almost has a Bespoke-like level of luxury, but at far less a cost. The initial release in China included a special White Rabbit candy-inspired packaging and unfortunately most, if not all of the U.S. release will not, but the packaging is an afterthought at this point because you’ll be wanting to wear these any chance you get. These are slated to release tomorrow, January 29th, at 21 Mercer and other select top-tier Nike Sportswear accounts, so check out these new detailed images below. You can make its upper out of Foamposite, add metal eyelets like a hiking boot or rubberize the mudguard like a duck, but there’s still no topping a two-toned Nike Air Force 1 Low. These joints hearken back to the golden age of AF1s, pre-internet hype and before many of the wild patterns, materials and mashups we’ve come to know and love. You get a rich Obsidian leather base that looks just perfect with white accents including Swoosh, sockliner and midsole. A no-brainer if ever there was one (though you might want to keep enough juice in your noggin not to pair these with black denim), this Obsidian AF1 Low just hit Titolo.
