The
Italian based automaker Lamborghini has finally revealed its newest
creation yet, the Gallardo LP550-2 Spyder at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto
Show.
The rear-wheel supercar has an e-gear sequential unit and a six-speed manual transmission and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in less than 4.2 seconds, with a top speed of 198 mph. The Gallardo LP550-2 Spyder takes a step down market from its brothers, including the Gallardo LP560-4 Spyder and the exclusive Gallardo LP570-4 Spyder Performante. The newest supercar made wearing the “raging bull” badge sits on 19 inch alloy rims wrapped in Pirelli P Zero performance tires, 235/35 front and 295/30 rear.
The Lamborghini Gallardo has been in production ever since 2003 and the supercar is coming in two body styles, two-door coupe and two-door spyder, having a mid-engine layout and four-wheel drive technology, except the Balboni edition which is coming with rear-wheel drive, just like the Gallardo LP550-2 Spyder.
