The walk of shame home after a big night out is one thing, but how about the wall of shame? Your Facebook wall, the morning after you got home tipsy and posted inappropriate status updates. Not to mention that succession of drunken tweets published before you fell asleep in a heap at 3am. Thankfully, someone's made an iPhone app to deal with the aftermath.
It's called Last Night Never Happened (LNNH for short), and styles itself as "the world's first morning-after app". The aim is to whip down your embarrassing updates and rambling tweets before they get a chance to spread across the Internet (or worse, be seen by your mum).
"Simply choose which social networks to log into (Facebook/Twitter), set the dial to the number of hours back that you'd like to delete, and the app will show you in real time exactly how many items you posted during that time," explains its App Store listing. "Once you hit the 'Last Night Never Happened' button and confirm, they'll be gone forever within seconds!"
You can even choose to replace your deleted posts with a personalised message -- quite possibly an apology for your misdeeds. The app is the work of developers 22seeds and So Soho Holdings, and is a nifty idea, at least for anyone who regularly risks their dignity with late-night social-networking foolishness.
Will it save you from drink-related shame? Clearly not. You can scrub your Facebook wall clean of incriminating content (and comments), but if your early-hours witterings have spread, there's nothing you can do to take down those retweets by other people.
Meanwhile, LNNH can't do anything about drunken emails, texts to exes, or your decision to strut down the high street naked, weeping and bellowing the Bodyform song. Technology has its limits, after all.

Entertainment News : Gilbert Gottfried Fired As Aflac Duck After Japanese Tsunami Tweets

With some wildly inappropriate tweets, the quack has been silenced.
Comedian Gilbert Gottfried sent out a slate of offensive twitter missives about the tragic Japanese earthquake and tsunami, and instead of drawing laughs, it cost him his job. The longtime voice of the iconic Aflac Duck, Gottfried was fired by the insurance company on Monday, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
"Gilbert's recent comments about the crisis in Japan were lacking in humor and certainly do not represent the thoughts and feelings of anyone at Aflac," the company, which does 75% of its business in Japan, said in a statement. "There is no place for anything but compassion and concern during these difficult times."
Gottfried's tweets certainly didn't show compassion. Buzzfeed compiled screen captures of the tweets, which were later deleted from the comedian's feed. Amongst the worst:
"I just split up with my girlfriend, but like the Japanese say, "They'll be another one floating by any minute now."
"I was talking to my Japanese real estate agent. I said 'is there a school in this area.' She said 'not now, but just wait.'"

How many mobile platforms can you think of that integrate "with your home game console, like Xbox?" Unless we're completely spacing something out, the answer is one: Windows Phone 7. We'd already figured the Thursday announcement that Sprint has been teasing this week on Twitter -- and that little Arrive leak all but confirmed it anyhow -- but if you needed any more evidence that the phone formerly known as the HTC 7 Pro would be formally announced in CDMA guise this week, here you have it. We'll know more tomorrow, hopefully.

Toni Braxton is Doing Playboy - YES!!!

Toni Braxton recently filed for bankruptcy on account of being an insane $50 million in debt, so naturally there’s only one way for this story to end: Nudity. Here she is on Twitter last night rationalizing posing for Playboy:

While I enjoy a tale of pornography being a woman’s only option as much as the next degenerate, with $50 million in debt posing for Playboy is a Band-Aid at best in this situation. I mean, she’ll make what? Maybe half a mil? Steve Hirsch at Vivid is paying off houses, and that’s just for Octomom. He’d probably buy Toni Braxton an island and all she’d have to do is inevitably let the entire Internet see her do anal. I guess what I’m trying to say here is, there’s a solution to every problem if put your mind to it. Share that with your kids.

1. Anne Curry
