Video : Christian Bale Calls A Little Boy With Leukemia To Talk About Batman

You're going to cry.

This is 8-year-old Zach Guillot, he suffers from leukemia and the other day he just happened to receive a phone call from his favorite actor Christian Bale. The two talk for nearly ten minutes about Batman and it's the sweetest thing ever.
"The best part about the movie is anyone can be Batman, anyone can be as strong as him and help people and put good out into the world," Christian Bale tells the little boy.
And maybe the best part about this is the fact that if Zach's parents hadn't uploaded it to YouTube, no one would have ever known Christian Bale did this. Whenever Bale does this kind of thing he never alerts the press, he just does it because he's a good guy.

Comics - Joseph Gordon-Levitt Reportedly “Solidifying” Deal To Play ‘Batman’ In JUSTICE LEAGUE

Feeding speculation that ignited from the closing sequence of The Dark Knight Rises, new reputable sources claim that actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt will “absolutely” appear in WB's Justice League film.

Although Warner Bros. have yet to announce solid plans for a Justice League movie, countless rumors seemingly indicate that the flick is definitely in the works, low key. And now endorsing speculation that started with the closing sequence of director Christopher Nolan's epic Batman conclusion, The Dark Knight Rises, the folks from HitFix seem to know who'll take up Christian Bale's ‘Batman’ mantle in the DC superhero team-up movie. And if true, it's no big surprise.

According to their sources, The Dark Knight Rises' Robin ‘John Blake’ actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt will “absolutely” be starring in the Justice League movie as the new Dark Knight.

While this claim should be added to the pile of rumors that already exist, the site further claims that Warner Bros. are currently “solidifying” deals for Gordon-Levitt and another actor from the trilogy. If true, however, the Justice League film will definitely be in continuity with Nolan's trilogy. And Gordon-Levitt would be reprising his role from the The Dark Knight Rises, in which his character's true identity was revealed to be Robin. And that evidently means Justice League's Dark Knight won't be using the alias “Bruce Wayne.” What do you think?

It is also worth noting that Joseph Gordon-Levitt was asked last month whether there were plans of what's being reported now. While denying there was anything underway then, he did add, “If the script inspires me and if there's a filmmaker that I respect and connect to...I'd consider anything.”

Anyhow, with Gangster Squad scribe Will Beall reportedly penning the film's screenplay, Justice League is said to follow next year's Man of Steel, and is scheduled for release in 2015.

Rides : Check Out This Batman-Themed Kia Optima

2013 Kia Optima SX Limited Batman themed front closeup view

Could Batman be trading in the Tumbler and his collection of Lamborghinis for a sensible Kia Optima? Not likely, but that hasn’t stopped Kia from collaborating with DC Entertainment and Rides to create a Batman-inspired Kia Optima SX Limited Batmobile for charity.

Based on the new top-trim turbocharged Optima SX Limited, this slammed Optima sits on 20-inch five-spoke black wheels with the Batman logo imbedded on the center caps. The Optima then gets big Ksport brakes, a ground effects kit, yellow underglow, and a matte-black paint job with a piano-black Batman logo splayed out over the front door and quarter panel. The Optima Batmobile is finished off with a sport exhaust system, and a custom front grille shaped like the batwing that Kia says took over 40 hours to create.
Inside, the Optima Limited’s Nappa leather has been replaced for yellow-accented black leather and suede. Each seat is upgraded with a batman logo on the seatback. Throwing stars can also be found mounted in the center console, and Kia says the Bat suit fits perfectly in the trunk.

The Kia Optima SX Limited Batmobile was created for DC’s “We Can Be Heroes” campaign, which is a charity that fights hunger in the Horn of Africa. Kia says that this Optima, which goes on display at the Time Warner Center in New York starting this week, is the first in a series of eight Kias that pay tribute to the Justice League.

Rides : Batman The Dark Knight Rises: Lamborghini Aventador will be Batman’s ride (Plus Trailer)

Batman The Dark Knight Rises: Lamborghini Aventador will be Batman’s ride

Bruce Wayne aka Batman will drive a Lamborghini Aventador in Batman: The Dark Knight Rises. Just like in real life, the Aventador replaces the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640, which was driven by Christian Bale in the 2008 film, The Dark Knight.
A member of the Luxury4Play.com forums obtained photos of the Gotham-plated Aventador on the set of the new film. The aggressive features of the Italian supercar are strong enough that the two-door could become a villain in its own right.
The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters July 20th, 2012 and is directed by Christopher Nolan starring Christan Bale as Batman, Tom Hardy as Bane, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Gary Oldman as Commissioner Gordon, Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox, Michael Cain as Alfred, Juno Temple and Josh Pence as a young Ra’s al Ghul.
In other news, Michael Caine has admitted to getting into trouble with director Christopher Nolan about giving too much information away about The Dark Knight Rises.
Caine told The Daily Express: “I’m lucky to be able to mention the title. I’ve already got in trouble for mentioning I’m working on it and that we’re filming. Chris phoned saying, ‘Why did you say that? You shouldn’t have said that!”
